Privacy Policy

Orbbii ("Orbbii", "we", "us") is a personal task manager and adventure planner for macOS and iOS, operated by Limbble. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.

The short version

  • Orbbii is local-first: the app works fully offline, and your data lives on your device.
  • We only collect data when you create an account and turn on cloud sync.
  • We do not track you, show ads, run third-party analytics, or sell your data.
  • You can delete your account and all its data from inside the app, at any time.

What we collect

We collect data only when you choose to create an Orbbii account (to enable cloud sync across your devices and the optional Claude/MCP connector):

  • Account information — your email address and name. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the name and email you choose to share (which may be a private Apple relay address).
  • Your content — the tasks, projects, areas, tags, notes, and adventures you create, when you are signed in and syncing. This is stored so it can sync between your devices.

If you never sign in, none of the above leaves your device — Orbbii stores everything locally on your Mac (and iPhone, once available).

We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or device identifiers for tracking.

How we use it

We use the data above solely to provide the app's functionality:

  • Authenticate your account and keep you signed in.
  • Sync your content across your devices.
  • Power the optional Orbbii connector for Claude (MCP), if you connect it.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or tracking across apps or websites, and we never sell it.

Where it's stored

Account data and synced content are stored on our hosted backend (Laravel Cloud) and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Verification and account emails are sent through our email provider.

We use these providers strictly as infrastructure to operate Orbbii; we do not share your data with third parties for their own purposes.

Deleting your account and data

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Cloud → Delete Account in the app. When you do, we:

  • delete your user account and all associated content from our servers, and
  • revoke your access tokens.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. Data already removed cannot be recovered. Your local on-device data is also cleared as part of the in-app deletion flow.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, the associated data is removed from our active systems. Routine backups, if any, are rotated on a regular cycle and are not used to restore deleted accounts.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and standard access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to a personal-productivity app.

Children

Orbbii is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

International users

Your data may be processed in the country where our infrastructure providers operate (primarily the United States). By using Orbbii with an account, you consent to this processing.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
